Did a bus tour (got on/off as we pleased) and saw a bit. City has a Vancouver feel. Young, harbour, old building at the foot of the main street, lots of hills. But , cities don't do much for me so we found other things to do.

I spent 29 years in public secondary education but a large part of that was also spent doing local and provincial union leadership. I discovered seakayaking about 21 years ago and have loved paddling Lake Huron, Georgian Bay, Flordia Natl Everglade Park, Pacific Rim Natl Park, Greenland. I have been to Thailand, England and Turkey as well as many places in my home province of Ontario and other places in Canada. We have recently travelled New Zealand and what a beautiful place it was. Looking forward to many more travel adventures in the future.
