We travelled from Kaikoura to Hanmer Springs over some interesting terrain. There is a terrible drought here and many farmers and ranchers are very worried. This should be a river. One of many one lane bridges we crossed going to the Springs. Lots of sheep and cows munching on very dry scrub.
